Hello there Wallflower! Today is January second, the second day of a new year and the first day of Adriene Mishler’s 2021 yoga journey.

I am so thankful that I found Adriene’s channel this spring. Her practices have helped me in so many ways and my quarantine wouldn’t be the same without her. This will be my first year participating in her 30 Day Yoga Journey and I am so excited to be a part of it. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Adriene, she is an actress, entrepreneur, and yoga teacher who began her YouTube channel in 2012 and has been building her Find What Feels Good community ever since. With her trusty doggie companion and yogi assistant, Benji, by her side as she guides her viewers through yoga and meditation practices Adriene has given me the power to take on the world. Her videos vary from flows to targeted practices and everything in between. They are strengthening, grounding, and fun and you can’t help but completely fall in love with Adriene’s personality by the end of your first video. Her practices have been a space for me to breathe, reset, and connect to my mind and body and they make me feel so good!

Every year in January Adriene creates a series of themed videos and she updates her YouTube channel each day with that day’s practice. You can also sign up for free daily motivational emails on her website which I recommend!

I invite you to join me on this year’s journey of BREATH. Let’s start this new year off right by connecting with our bodies and minds. It’s time to spread the love, and that journey starts by giving some to yourself. The hardest part is showing up, but I believe in you. Now, let’s breathe together…
